Cook Borscht With Tania

Tania Radkova came to Canada from Ukraine, and she'll show you how she makes borscht at home and share the traditions behind it. You help in the kitchen, then everyone sits down to eat together.

Can we include your group in photos?

RISE and the Alberni Valley Food Security Society may share photos with the group and use them in reports, social media posts, and the newspaper. Saying no changes nothing, and you can change your mind later.

Spots go in the order RSVPs come in. Once RSVPs close on Friday, October 9, we'll email everyone: the evening's details if you have a spot, or waitlist details if it filled before you.
Can't make it?
Please email info@risealberni.org or use our contact form so someone on the waitlist can have your spot.
Bring a container
If there's food left over, you can take some home in a reusable container.
The recipe comes with you
We'll email you the recipe after the evening, with photos from the night.
