RISE operates several initiatives designed to strengthen community connections, foster local pride, and increase access to resources.
Writing and Creative Expression Projects
We invite community members to respond to creative prompts — sharing stories, ideas, and art — with custom stickers offered in return as small tokens of connection. We also run zine creation workshops, teaching community members — particularly youth and marginalized individuals — to create, print, and distribute their own publications, amplifying voices that often go unheard.
Community Scavenger Hunts
Events designed to increase community connections, local knowledge, and civic pride by bringing people together in teams to learn about local history, resources, and culture through interactive activities.
