Adult Skills Development Tutoring

Individualized tutoring for employment skills, standardized test prep, computer literacy, and driver's license preparation.

This program provides individualized tutoring for adults looking to build employment skills, prepare for standardized tests, or strengthen foundational literacy. Every learner's needs are different, and we work flexibly to connect the right support with the right person.

Driver's License Preparation

We help participants study for the BC driver's knowledge test, working through the ICBC manual, reviewing rules of the road, and completing practice tests. This support is especially valuable for newcomers unfamiliar with Canadian driving regulations or those who have not previously held a driver's license.

Computer Literacy for Employment

Many employers expect basic computer proficiency. We provide one-on-one tutoring in foundational digital skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel), email communication, and general computer use needed to apply for and succeed in employment.

Adult Literacy Tutoring

We support adults who require foundational reading and writing instruction. Sessions are individualized and paced to each learner's needs, focusing on practical literacy skills that support independence, employment, and community participation.

Employment Skills Development

When gaps exist in services provided by organizations like WorkBC, or when learners need additional one-on-one support, we offer tailored skill-building sessions. This may include workplace communication, job application support, and other skills the learner identifies as barriers to employment.
