Where Can I Find a Math Tutor in Port Alberni?
RISE Alberni has math tutors available now for every level, from elementary math to Pre-calculus 12, Calculus 12, and post-secondary courses. Sessions are one-on-one and usually in person in Port Alberni. K-12 sessions are $60, or $55 each when you prepay for two or more.

Which Math Does Your Child Need Next?
Every BC student needs a Math 10 and a Math 11 or 12 to graduate. Which one they take shapes what comes after.
Pre-calculus keeps the most doors open. UVic's engineering program asks for Pre-calculus 12 with at least 77%. VIU's Bachelor of Science asks for at least a B in Pre-calculus 12. VIU's nursing degree asks for at least a C+ in Pre-calculus 11 or Foundations of Mathematics 12.
